I have no idea how Shea (dark brown hair) and myself (medium brown hair) managed to have a kid with such blond hair. (Of course he was conceived somewhere around the time we went to the Fred Eaglesmith Picnic south of London - coincidence?)

This is a shot of Pace up to no good at the Weyburn Public Library after watching Weldon the Wacky Wizard, our summer reading tour performer.

well, blond is recessive...maybe he lucked out by digging out a long buried gene! Then again, a lot of kids seem to be born lighter and then change after a couple years.
I'm still hoping my sister-in-law has a recessive gene so that when they have kids they'll be red heads. (my brother is red, his wife is Japanese - i can still hope can't I?) Re: Re: Who's Yer Daddy?
Shea's brother was this blond until he was five or something so this isn't unprecedented.
Red-headed half-Japanese kids - that would be very cool! Re: Who's Yer Daddy?

That picture of your kid so SO MONEY! Adorable!
Re: Re: Who's Yer Daddy?
What do photographers say - you have to take 50 shots to get one good one? That's about our ratio for getting really good shots of Pace. But yeah, when they happen, beautiful babies baby!
